David W. Richardson, CFA

Managing Partner & CEO

David Richardson is a Managing Partner & CEO at Global Energy Investors and responsible for leading the firm’s business development and capital raising functions. Along with the Director, Project Investments, David also manages GEI’s relationships with project developers, bank finance and project equity partners. Together with the other Partners and Advisory Board, David is responsible for the overall investment, asset management, strategic planning, and operations of the Firm and funds. David sits on GEI’s Investment Committee and has ongoing oversight responsibility for portfolio investments.

Prior to co-founding GEI, David was a founding principal and Managing Director at Dwight Asset Management Company (Dwight), an institutional investment management firm. Under David’s leadership, Dwight grew to approximately $80 Billion in assets as a highly regarded fixed income manager specializing in capital preservation and income strategies for insurance companies, corporations, public plans, endowments and foundations. He served on the Board and Executive Management team and as a Senior Portfolio Manager for a number of the firm’s larger client portfolios.

Prior to Dwight, David headed Project Development at Mark Technologies Corporation (MTC). Under his leadership, MTC successfully designed, constructed, financed and profitably sold a number of utility-scale wind energy projects in
California. David was responsible for project due diligence, negotiating land lease, land purchase, wind turbine and power purchase agreements, structuring and negotiating construction and permanent project financing, and equity financing agreements.

David began his career as a Mechanical and Civil Engineer in the Nuclear Power industry. He graduated from the
University of California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. David is President of the Board of Directors of the Vermont CFA Society, member of the Socially Responsible Investment committee for the Boston Security Analysts Society, New England Clean Energy Council, and the American Council on Renewable Energy.





Letitia Anne DeVillar

Managing Partner & COO

Tish DeVillar is a Managing Partner & COO at Global Energy Investors. In this role, she is responsible for managing the company’s internal operations including the legal and compliance, accounting, financial, and administrative functions. She oversees GEI’s enterprise and investment risk management by ensuring that GEI adheres to a disciplined investment program and meets the highest standards in financial transparency, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Tish also oversees the HR function and other internal systems. In collaboration with the CEO, she manages GEI’s business relationships with clients, third party administrators, and outside counsel. Tish sits on GEI’s Investment Committee, which has final decision-making authority and ongoing oversight responsibility for portfolio investments. She is also a member of the Executive Committee.

Prior to co-founding GEI, she was president of Trinity Capital Management, LLC, a private investment firm managing public and private equity, bond, and real estate portfolios. She has extensive experience evaluating investment opportunities in both early-stage and mature organizations including conducting qualitative and quantitative investment analysis, managing due diligence investment teams, and structuring balanced investment portfolios.

Previously, Tish was a practicing attorney. She holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, a J.D. from Vermont Law School, and an LL.M. in Banking & Financial Law from Boston University School of Law. She sits on the board of HitFix, Inc., and serves as a Managing Director of Golden Seeds, an angel investment group that invests in early-stage, women-led entrepreneurial companies. Tish is Co-President of the Concord Museum Guild Board in Concord, Massachusetts and a docent at the John Adams Courthouse in Boston, Massachusetts.
